Beginning a new chapter At our US production facility

On March 15th, our North American team came together to celebrate an important milestone – the completion of the production floor of our new USA-based facility. Flags were raised at the building for the first time – USA, Canadian and German – and a ribbon-cutting ceremony on the production floor marked the beginning of this new chapter for Schöck.

Mike Bucher, CEO of Schöck AG, and Chris Willett, Managing Director, joined the Schöck North America team for the celebration, and even rolled up their sleeves on the assembly floor. While production crew member Yariel Molina had the honor of making the ceremonial first Isokorb® module, Mike and Chris soon followed, trying their hand at making a module themselves.

The new facility, located in Bordentown, New Jersey, is expected to be fully operational by the end of April. In addition to being the first assembly location for the company in North America, it is also the first Schöck production facility outside of Europe. Strategically positioned to streamline the supply of Isokorb® thermal break products to Canadian and US customers, it will house engineering, customer support, marketing, assembly and distribution under one roof. This will allow Schöck to maximize efficiencies and bring greater agility and responsiveness to its North American projects.
