Schöck Tronsole® type B with type D
Schöck Tronsole® type B can be used to provide acoustically insulated support where the base of an in-situ concrete or precast staircase rests on the floor slab (e.g. cellar stairs). Schöck Tronsole® type B separates stairs and floor slab across the entire surface, thus minimising the risk of acoustic bridges.
- Schöck Elodur® elastomer support
Ensures an impact sound level delta of ∆Lw* ≥ 27 dB to ∆Lw* ≥ 33 dB on all products, tested to DIN 7396.
- Fire resistance class F90
Joints connected with Tronsole® type F/B are classifiable as fire resistance class F90 under DIN 4102
- Integrated strips
Can be stuck onto precast elements to stop the product slipping when moving the stairs. For fast and efficient execution
- 4 (V2)-5 (V1) standard lengths and 2 standard widths
Can be easily cut to length to reduce waste
- Suitable for emergency exits
Confirmed in the fire safety certificate
Schöck Elodur® is an elastomer support that was developed specifically for impact sound insulation. It is the key component in Schöck Tronsole®. Unlike conventional impact sound insulation supports, Schöck Tronsole® achieves an improvement of about 10 dB in impact sound insulation performance by using the elastomer support, Schöck Elodur®. This is approximately equivalent to about half the perceived loudness level.
