Advantages

  • Installation with flexible construction times
Anchorage for precast balcony units can be installed later, optimising the construction process

  • Reduced construction time and costs
No scaffolding necessary around the balcony and more space for site facilities; insulation and windows can be installed beforehand to optimise utilisation of production capacity at the precast plant; easier façade planning

  • Outstanding thermal insulation
With 120 mm thick insulating element and HTE Compact® pressure bearing made of high-performance fine concrete

  • Verified by supervising authority
Planning reliability for national and European projects with European Technical Assessment (ETA-17/0261 and ETA-17/0262) and general type approval (aBG no. Z-15.7-317)

  • Verified eco-balance data
Supplied with environmental product declaration (EPD) by the German Institute for Construction and the Environment (IBU)

  • Compliance with fire protection requirement
Satisfies the fire protection requirements with fire resistance class REI 120

  • Symmetrical
Unit can easily be split (quartered) on the construction site

  • Installation reliability
Installation instructions available to download from the website and via QR code on the products, labelling and arrows simplify installation.

  • Standardised – with and without edge downstand beam
Available in heights from 160 to 200 mm as standard for applications with and without edge downstand beam

Schöck IDock®

Schöck IDock® consists of an edge element and floor slab element. The edge element is designed to precisely position the floor slab element in the formwork and to fabricate the grout joint between the Schöck Isokorb® XT/T type K-ID or Q-ID and the floor slab side. The floor slab element consists of profiled recessing elements and distribution bars. Both are designed to establish the bond between the concrete of the floor slab and the poured concrete.

Note

Schöck IDock® 1 for floor slabs: H = 160-250 mm, application without edge downstand beam
Schöck IDock® 2 for floor slabs: H= 160-200 mm, application with edge downstand beam

  • Schöck IDock® must always be combined with Schöck Isokorb® XT/T type K-ID or Q-ID
