Berlin "Immergrün"

In the midst of a new, park-like and car-free neighborhood in the Berlin district of Pankow, the "immergrün" residential ensemble was built with a total of six separated apartment buildings according to the plans by the local firm zanderrotharchitekten. Special attention was paid to the interaction of inside and outside, to the flowing transition between living space and garden: Thus, the light-flooded apartments are directly related to the surrounding lush greenery through the large, floor-to-ceiling wooden windows, which runs like a vertical garden through the site and along the balconies and loggias. Equally impressive is the open, semi-spiral staircase placed in the middle of each atrium in each of the six houses, welcoming residents as well as guests. The challenging acoustic decoupling of this component was achieved with a Schöck Tronsole® that was specially calculated and manufactured for this project.
