Duett 2
It is often easy to overlook the fact that in every landmark piece of architecture sophisticated technology is working hard behind the scenes to bring the creative design ideas to fruition. These „technical helpers“ cannot actually be seen. They remain in the background, and for the most part avoid the limelight, after all that's not their intended purpose. What they do is they help make ambitious design ideas reality by putting the structure of buildings in place right at the start of the design process. „Architecture could not exist without technology. And architecture would be nothing without poetry. Successfully reconciling these two aspects – that's the big challenge.“ Andreas Krawczyk, NKBAK/Frankfurt

Duett 3
Architecture aims to awake emotions in those who experience it. And technology can do this too: when integrated it in a manner that creates visual tension and excitement and supports the architectural concept, it works like an amplifier. An amplifier that really makes the architecture sing and unveils the poetic aspect of a building.
