The sustainability of a building can be measured by calculating the environmental performance of each element. Environmental Product Declarations – EPD for short – provide the data on which the ecological building assessments are based. The EPD contains details about the environmental performance of the construction product – from production through to disposal. For Schöck Isokorb® XT/T type K an EPD environmental product declaration is available for architects and engineers. It was issued by Institut Bauen und Umwelt e. V. (IBU).
