Sconnex® W is a load-bearing thermal insulation element for reinforced concrete walls which is designed to be installed directly in the structural component (wall). The load transmission can be controlled to optimum effect by adjusting the element spacing and selecting the right type variants. Can be used with insulation on underside or top side of the floor slab.
Improved energy efficiency
Reduction of thermal bridges at reinforced concrete walls and therefore increase in overall energy efficiency of the building; no flank insulation required
Healthy indoor climate
High wall surface temperatures protect against condensation and mould.
Improved visual appearance
Slender walls without change of material; walls can be manufactured in exposed concrete
Greater planning reliability
The continuous insulation plane reduces the likelihood of planning and construction errors.
Avoid maintenance and refurbishment costs
Lower maintenance costs due to maintenance-free connections and by avoiding subsequent costs of repairing structural damage and defects
Passive House component
Certified by Passive House Institute in Darmstadt
More planning flexibility
Complex building geometries can be implemented more easily.
