Founded as a family business, Schöck is still characterised by values today. Of course, the focus is on economic success and healthy growth. What characterises Schöck, however, is first and foremost its focus on people, both on the part of its employees and in relation to its customers and business partners.

A special feature of the company is that approximately two thirds of the share capital of Schöck AG is held by the Eberhard Schöck Foundation established by the Schöck family and the Schöck-Familien-Stiftung gGmbH. This means that the majority of the income generated by the company and paid out to the shareholders goes to charitable national and international projects, particularly in the areas of education, training and international understanding.

The Schöck-Familien-Stiftung gGmbH supports the education and vocational training of children, adolescents and young adults in Germany, India and Nepal.

The Eberhard Schöck Foundation supports the training of craftsmen in Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Georgia - through model projects, qualification programmes and exchanges.

The Eberhard Schöck Foundation and Schöck Bauteile GmbH award the Schöck Building Innovation Prize every year. It honours three outstanding diploma or master's theses in civil engineering.
