Quartier Tafel

Quartier Tafel Nuremberg: residential construction with a showcase character
The ‘Quartier Tafel’ in Nuremberg is a showcase urban development project: 380 flats with a total of 28,000 square metres of living space were built on the approximately two-hectare site, 50 percent of which are income-oriented subsidised.

The buildings impress with their aesthetic sandwich façade, which is thermally separated with the innovative Schöck Isolink® Type C façade fixing. Made of glass fibre composite material, Isolink® minimises thermal bridges, increases energy efficiency and enables cost-effective implementation. Thanks to its simple installation and reduced material requirements, it is ideal for the demanding geometry of the 20,000 square metre façade area.

The prefabricated construction method plays a central role in this project: prefabricated components such as complete bathroom modules and the sandwich façade enable fast, cost-effective and at the same time high-quality design realisation.
