Schöck publishes first sustainability report

The construction industry is the focus of the current sustainability discussion worldwide due to its carbon footprint. For Schöck, this is not a new topic - it has already been lived for decades. Starting with the introduction of energy-efficient products, energy management, expansion of photovoltaics, environmental certifications, commitment as a climate protection company and the climate neutrality initiative. To name just a few examples. Without neglecting economic growth and responsibility for employees and society.

All this can now be read in black and white in Schöck AG's first sustainability report, which was published on the occasion of the annual general meeting. The report was prepared voluntarily. Schöck is not legally obliged to do so until January 1^st, 2026, measured against its company size in accordance with EU standards.

This is not just about the simple documentation of activities, it is a goal-oriented sustainability management as part of the corporate strategy. With clearly defined fields of action and performance indicators that are in line with the international recognized GRI index (Global Reporting Initiative) and the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

Over the next few years, Schöck will continue to develop specifically towards the required standards of the EU in terms of EU taxonomy and the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) indicators of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive).
