Schöck North America recently published steel thermal break connection load tables. These tables can be used to quickly determine connection layouts and module counts for W-shape (I-beam) and HSS (tubular) shapes of various depths. Minimum recommended connection end-plate thicknesses are also listed in the design tables.
Thermal break connections in W-sections from W6 (W150) to W18 (W460) can be quickly and efficiently designed in Imperial and Metric units using the tables. Also listed are connections for HSS sections from 4” (100mm) to 12” (300mm) in depth.
