Engineering for Performance. Incorporating Thermal Breaks.

Schöck now offers a PDH course, Engineering for Performance. The purpose of this program is to educate engineers on thermal bridging problems in the building envelope and to gain a better understanding of how to integrate structural thermal breaks in the design. By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

  • Identify thermal bridging areas and problems in the building envelope
  • Describe the functionality of manufactured structural thermal breaks
  • Explain structural conditions at thermal break connections
  • Apply thermal break technology to building applications
