Sustainability Report - Schöck AG 2022

Being a role model, in word and deed. Commitment to the common good Funding of the common good was a matter close to the heart of founder, Eberhard Schöck, and is still an important concern for the entrepreneurial family and the Executive Board today. This funding is manifested in many ways and always pursues the goal of creating added value for society and, in most cases, directly for the region in which Schöck conducts its business. Funding charitable causes Schöck donates regularly to charitable causes. This includes an annual donation of € 10,000 at Christmas to the Baden-Baden, Essen and Halle sites, which benefits local social organisations and associations. The recommendations come from the employees at the three sites. In the 2022 reporting year, the company donated € 5,000 to "Die Füchse" from Achern, a group for children and young people from families with addiction problems. € 2,500 was donated for a lighting system in the theatre and culture workshop of the Franz Sales workshops for people with disabilities in Essen. At the Halle plant, € 2,500 was donated to the animal welfare foundation "Herzensangelegenheiten e.V.". The association supports families with seriously ill children and helps in emergency situations. In addition, the company supports local, regional and national charitable organisations with a budget of € 100,000 per year. These include aid for Syria or support for the Ahr valley after the flood disaster, but also the Caritas food bank in the Baden-Baden region or medical research projects. The focus here is on children's cancer aid or neuroblastoma research, among others. 96 Company Sustainability management Fields of activity GRI content index
