Employee representation Around 75% of Schöck employees are represented by works councils. The first employee representation was established at Baden-Baden at the end of the 1990s, followed by works councils in Essen and Halle. The works council is made up of employees from all business units, industrial workers as well as commercial stuff, in order to involve the differentgroups of interest in the process. The company promotes comprehensive communication with the works council via its own intranet site. An employee app offers the possibility of quick and direct online communication between employee and works council. In practice, open constructive cooperation is maintained between the works council, Executive Board and HR Management. Jointly elaborated works agreements regulate employee concerns on various topics, such as remuneration systems, profit-sharing or mobile working. Agency workers In some production areas, Schöck employs agency workers. The aim of this is to cover fluctuating customer demand and seasonal production peaks.
