Sustainability Report - Schöck AG 2022

Comprehensive quality assurance. Flawless quality, from manufacturing through to professional installation Only a qualitatively flawless product offers installation reliability and enables customer satisfaction. To this end, Schöck has implemented a comprehensive quality assurance system that begins with the receipt of the primary materials such as concrete or stainless steel. Quality assurance takes place in four phases: 0.4% All load-bearing and thus safety-relevant parts that are used in Schöck products require a particularly stringent inspection, also at the incoming goods stage. This applies, among other things, to reinforcement steel, stainless steel or concrete pressure bearings. During quality assurance, the manufacturers’ test certificates are compared with the standard or the quality requirements and the building supervisory approvals. In the event of non-conformities, the material may already be barred at the incoming goods stage. If technical complaints are received from customers, these are recorded in the systems, traced back, the causes determined and measures for improvement initiated. Due to the comprehensive product quality assurance, the technical complaint rate at Schöck is extremely low. This is determined from the number of complaints in relation to the number of orders. All complaints are recorded worldwide and documented in a complaints cockpit. Incoming goods inspection In-process production control Inspection by the worker Outgoing goods inspection Complaints management is the ratio of reported technical complaints at Schöck worldwide.
